Lucy was looking to redecorate her apartment. Inspired by a recent trip to Mexico and her love of colour, the theme she kept coming back to was Mexican Mid-Century Modern. I added square block moulding to the cornice to add visual interest to the flat walls and drenched them in Porter’s Paint Pink Sand. Adding the lively colours of Mexico with bright red accents, a statement yellow lounge and rich blue bolster cushions. Additional mood lighting and drapey curtains all add to the overall feeling of the space, emphasising a chic, colourful home.
